Foreign Language Custom Classes
Consider a custom foreign language class! Meet with a teacher who is a highly-trained native speaker of the language of your choice. Custom classes allow for total flexibility for you or your small group.
You decide...
• Areas of focus: conversation, reading comprehension, grammar, business or industry-related vocabulary, or just “survival” for travel preparation.
• Class schedule, meeting place and time: Ideal for people who travel frequently or who have an unpredictable schedule. Meet for class at TFLI, your workplace, home or at a local library or coffee shop. Wherever and whenever you wish and at a convenient hour for you.
• The pace: custom classes allow you to work at your own speed and with course materials that you select with your instructor.
• The duration of your custom class: Although we request that you initially purchase a minimum of 10 hours of instruction, it’s up to you if you wish to continue to work towards fluency. Some of our students have been studying a foreign language for several years with a TFLI instructor.
Please note the following important information:
• Textbook and other course materials can be arranged with your teacher and may cost $30-$135 extra.
• There may be a nominal charge per mile if your instructor drives over 12 miles to teach you at your home or desired meeting place.
• TFLI requests that each class last 1.5 to 2 hours so that the
meeting is worthwhile for both student and teacher.
• Please give at least 24-hours notice if cancelling a session or you will be
charged for that session missed.
