The Tennessee Foreign Language Institute (TFLI), an agency of the State of Tennessee established in 1986 (and the only one of its kind in state government throughout the U.S.), is dedicated to responsive service of the public sector, the business community and private citizens in realizing their intercultural communication goals.  TFLI offers:

               customized -- with classes in

               Arabic, Chinese, English (ESL), French, German, Italian, Portuguese,

               Russian, Spanish and others;

               for teachers of ESL, foreign language instructors, and interpreters;
